Flyboarding Vs. Jet Skiing Which One Is For You
Sep 22, 2020
Flyboarding and jet skiing are two exciting water sports that will pump your adrenaline and guarantee a wonderful experience. Although they are both water sports activities, they have several differences. These differences mean that these two sports have two very different experiences to offer.
Flyboarding is comparatively more demanding and is not a sport for the weak hearted. Jet skiing can be experienced on either a stand-up or otherwise a sit-down model. The sit-down model offers a laid back ride, whereas the stand-up is mostly used for a wild ride.
The Basics Of Jet Skiing Explained
A Jet Ski is a personal watercraft, which has a boat and motorcycle-like appearance. It is used to coarse across the water body and feels like riding a bike in the water. It is a popular recreational sport among the sports buffs and provides a thrilling adrenaline rush.
Jet Skis are available in two models: the sit-down and the stand-up model. Both of these models have different features and provide different experiences. The stand-up model is the original model and is commonly used for a thrill ride. The stand-up enables the rider to perform different tricks and moves. The sit-down model is used for a relaxed ride; it is the latest version and is often used as a device to enjoy rides with family and friends as it can seat up to three passengers.
Jet Ski riding requires training and certification. We have expert instructors who will inform you about the PWC and its operation. The initial training will acquaint you with the guidelines.
All About Flyboarding
Franky Zapata invented the flyboard. This device consists of a personal jetpack and is attached to the personal watercraft (PWC). The jetpack is connected to the PWC through a hose. High-pressure water is then transported from the personal watercraft to the jetpack through these hoses. The force of the water then propels the device up into the air and lets you enjoy the joy of flight.
The flyboard also includes a detachable rotating main bearing, which is situated beneath the flyboard. The rotating main bearing allows the flyboard to spin freely. Flyboarding is a tricky sport, but it can be learned with adequate practice. Once you balance the board, you will be able to easily operate the flyboard.
Riding The Jet Ski Vs. The Flyboard
While riding the Jet Ski, the instructor will initially ask you to seat yourself comfortably and keep your hands and feet in position. You will then have to start the ignition and then slowly increase the throttle. Be careful not to accelerate the device as you might lose control. Start the PWC slowly and accelerate gradually.
Once you start riding on the water and you get used to the PWC, you can slowly accelerate. Be mindful of turns as you have to slow down and then turn towards the desired direction. Do not speed while turning as this can cause the device to topple.
While riding the flyboard, the instructor manages the throttle of the device. The rider will still be able to manage the navigation. The main task of the rider is to maintain balance and keep the flyboard steady. It might take you 15- 20 minutes to get used to the machine, after which you can spin freely.
Both devices require a certain amount of skill and practice. Contact our team and experience these exciting water sports activities.
