The coolest thing about jet-skiing or fly boarding is their tricks. If you have learned the basics of fly boarding and have the grip of it, then it’s the right time for you to try out simple tricks that are sure to leave your friends impressed with your fly boarding skills.
Depending on your level of confidence while on the air, you have plenty of choices to experiment with tricks, but here are some simple ones that can help you get started safely.
This is one of the most simple and signature fly boarding tricks almost featured on every fly boarding video on the internet. To try this trick, keep your legs straight and then dive at a 45-degree angle. And then, when you are under the water, try to angle yourself upright so you can come up and be ready to take your next dive.
This is a slight variation to the original dolphin dive discussed above. To try this trick, you have to dive while turning in the air. This trick is best performed with multiple dives.
Back flips are one of the coolest moves you can do on land. Doing the same thing on-air while levitating above water is one of the best things you can do while fly boarding. It even looks cooler than doing it on land. Even if you’re unable to do a back flip on land, you can surely do a back flip while fly boarding.
To do this trick, you have to lean back and then swing your legs up. The only tricky part here is that you have to make your turn fast enough to get your legs back underneath you.
As the word says, this is a little more advanced than back flips and also calls for more height in the air. To do this flip, you can use the same technique as a normal back flip, but you need to add more speed to propel yourself into a second flip soon after the first.
Very often, you will not be able to master this trick right away; it will need some practice which is easy to catch up.
To try this trick, you will have to launch up and out. You will have to push the board behind you until you are horizontal. This will then align you in a position that gives you the posture to fly like a superman.
When fly boarding, you can turn and still gain altitude. To do this trick start your turns and then use the force of rotations to get you to do a back flip.
The infinity flip is all about what you do with the hose. Ideally, you will have to do a front flip and then a back flip to make it look like an infinity sign.
Just like the double back flip, this trick is also about speed. To do this properly, you need to get very high up in the air and then continuously do your back flips without a pause. thrice. This might be hard to catch up in one go and may need some practice.
When you do a normal back flip the hose will be up in the air in a triangle shape. To thread this needle, you have to first do a back flip and then cruise through the triangle. You have to be very quick here, so you have time to fly through the loop before it falls back into the water.
This trick is done in a straight position during turning or tumbling motion. To perform this trick, you will have to push your fly board behind you for a split second and quickly forward yourself to do a back flip.
It’s always best to remotely control your PWC, as it allows more room for experimentation with tricks. But if you’re going through a fly board or jet ski rental, the pilot will allow you to do these tricks and operate accordingly.
